Sunday Talks

Every Sunday between 2:30-4:30pm, SPoD hosts “Sunday Talks” in its office space. These meetings, which are free of charge and open to everyone without an appointment, are run by supervised peer moderators who have received training on LGBTI issues from SPoD’s Psychosocial Support and Mental Health unit. In these Sunday Talks, we discuss issues that affect LGBTI community such as coming out, sexual orientation, difficulties with family or romantic relationships, as well as engage in other activities like film screenings, games and theatre. The intra-group support system that emerges from sharing our experiences and knowledge creates a safe space where LGBTI people can gather without having to hide their gender identity or sexual orientation.
