Since 2016, we have been holding our Sunday Talks in person regularly. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, these sessions have continued as ‘Queerantine Talks’ on online platforms, bridging the physical distance between us. These gatherings are free to attend and require no prior appointment. They are led by peer moderators who have received comprehensive training from the organisation and undergo regular supervision.
We cover a different topic each week, delving into everything from coming out, gender identity, and sexual orientation, to relationships with family, challenges in romantic relationships, and much more that touches every aspect of LGBTIQA+ lives. From lighter conversations to more serious reflections, we explore expectations, heartbreaks, and the entire spectrum of our experiences.
Join us on our first “Talks without Distance” in English, called “Queer Talks” on November 12, at 7 p.m. (CET), online. We will have a conversation about one of life’s biggest questions: What is “the meaning of life”? In a world where we’re often encouraged to keep moving without stopping to ask the deeper questions, we want to provoke thought and curiosity. Maybe it feels easier, even safer, not to think about these concepts. But together, we can create a space to explore.
Do we believe there is a meaning to life? If so, what might it be? And if not, what does that mean for how we live? How does being queer relate to all of it? This is your invitation to engage in an open, inclusive conversation with others who are also questioning, wondering, and exploring. Let’s dive in together, and see where the discussion takes us. We are looking forward to meeting you.
